The Hollow Roblox Puzzle Guide: All Solutions and Rewards
A complete The Hollow Roblox puzzle guide: all Day 1 puzzle piece locations, circuit and pillar solutions, maze tips, and every reward explained step by step.
The Hollow Roblox puzzle is the daily centerpiece of Roblox’s platform-wide 2026 Halloween event: every floor of the shared horror maze hid a puzzle room, and cracking it was the only way out with the relic. The most famous one is the Day 1 puzzle — five scattered pieces, a circuit to complete, and Seek from DOORS hunting you the whole time. This guide covers how the puzzle floors work, all five Day 1 piece locations, the circuit and pillar solutions, and every reward.
What Is the Puzzle in The Hollow Roblox?
The Hollow turned a shared hub into a multi-floor horror theater for Halloween 2026, bringing together icons from popular horror experiences like DOORS, Dandy’s World, and Piggy. Each day of the event introduced a brand-new floor, a unique entity stalking its corridors, and a puzzle room standing between you and the exit. The structure never changes: solve the puzzle, claim the relic it guards, and get back to the elevator before the monster catches you.
Here is how the first four puzzle floors stacked up, based on coverage current as of late October 2026:
| Event Day | Featured Entity | Core Puzzle Objective | Primary Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Seek (DOORS) | Find 5 puzzle pieces and complete the circuit | Lord Umberhallow Bloxikin |
| Day 2 | Twisted Dandy (Dandy’s World) | Align 6 pillar symbols and pull the lever | Witch’s Brew-nado |
| Day 3 | Biter (Demonology) | Navigate spooky corridors | Spotlight Specter |
| Day 4 | The Deer (99 Nights in the Forest) | Evade the entity while collecting relics | Incorporeal Incorporated |
These opening floors set the pattern for the whole event. For the complete floor-by-floor walkthrough and daily quests, see our full The Hollow Roblox guide, or start with What Is the Hollow Roblox Event? if you are new to the event.
Day 1 Puzzle: All 5 Puzzle Piece Locations
Day 1 drops you onto the first floor of the theater maze with a single objective: recover five puzzle pieces scattered across the floor. Entering The Hollow Hub plays a short cutscene that shows you the puzzle room and Floor 1, then asks you to find the First Night Relic locked behind the puzzle door. All five pieces spawn on this first floor — the problem is finding them.
The floor is a maze that changes from time to time, and the pieces do not spawn in fixed locations, so a route that worked in one run can dead-end in the next. Memorizing exact spots will not help; learn which rooms the pieces gravitate toward and sweep them in order.
With that caveat, here is the reference route documented for a typical Day 1 layout:
| Piece | Where It Usually Spawns |
|---|---|
| Piece 1 | Enter the maze, go straight to the balcony, then turn right into the room |
| Piece 2 | Turn left and go straight until you reach the stairs — the piece sits near them |
| Piece 3 | From Piece 2, head into the next room, turn right and follow the path, then take two lefts to reach the balcony |
| Piece 4 | Near the hall with a queue area and four red chairs, each with a dustbin — go through the door leading to the stairs |
| Piece 5 | In the same hall, ignore the three dead-end doors and take the one leading to other rooms — the piece sits in front of the wall with four posters |
Treat the table as a rough map rather than gospel — in shifting layouts, the later pieces can land in different side corridors. Check every corner of each room, staircase, and hallway as you sweep, and keep your escape routes in mind while you search.
How to Solve the Day 1 Circuit Puzzle
Collecting the pieces is only half the job. The puzzle room’s location changes with the map, so you have to find it first: look for a door with a blue barrier in the maze. The safe room has the same barrier — tell the two apart by the interior, where the puzzle room has bookshelves on either side, green wallpaper, and a wooden wall and floor. Walk straight after entering and the puzzle sits on your left, mounted on the locked door.
Go near the door to place the missing pieces and the actual puzzle begins. The layout is different for each player, but the solution principle is always the same: rearrange the energy lines so the starting point connects cleanly to the end — link one diamond to the other, and the circuit lights up when the path is complete.
Solving the puzzle leaves you holding the First Night Relic, and the final leg is the most dangerous part of the run: navigate the maze back to the elevator area and reach the lobby without getting caught by Seek. Deliver the relic and the Day 1 reward is yours — the Lord Umberhallow Bloxikin shoulder accessory. Get caught on the way back and you start the piece hunt from scratch.
Day 2 Pillar Puzzle and Later Floors
Day 2 moves the action to the second-floor playhouse maze, patrolled by Twisted Dandy from Dandy’s World. Fight your way to the back room and you will find the puzzle: six stone pillars around a central activation lever, plus a cryptic riddle warning that turning one pillar automatically shifts its neighbors. Random spinning only wastes your time — that ripple effect is the mechanic to master.
Work with the ripple instead of against it: adjust the center pillars early to establish the base alignment, and save the outer pillars for last to lock in the final orientation. When all six pillars show their matching symbols facing inward, a surge of energy shoots toward the center. Pull the lever to unlock the relic, then sprint back to the safety of the elevator.
Later floors keep the loop but raise the pressure: Day 3 sends you through spooky corridors haunted by Biter from Demonology, and Day 4 has you evade The Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest while collecting relics.
Tips for Surviving the Maze Entities
The entities are what turn The Hollow’s puzzles from a scavenger hunt into a survival run. If Seek catches and kills you on Day 1, you must start finding the puzzle pieces from scratch — getting caught resets your progress all the way back to the elevator. Stealth and memory are your best allies.
- Use the safe room and the puzzle room as pressure valves — Seek will not follow you into either one.
- You can make Seek chase someone else: run near other players while it is following you and it will switch targets.
- Look at every corner of every room, staircase, and hallway; pieces and mechanisms blend into the scenery.
- Do not search for pieces and evade Seek at the same time — it is easy to miss pieces in a rush. Separate the two jobs.
All Puzzle Rewards
Every puzzle floor pays out a dedicated reward when you deliver its relic to the lobby. Here is the documented set from the opening floors:
| Floor | Reward |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Lord Umberhallow Bloxikin — shoulder accessory |
| Day 2 | Witch’s Brew-nado |
| Day 3 | Spotlight Specter |
| Day 4 | Incorporeal Incorporated |
The Lord Umberhallow Bloxikin is the most visible — a shoulder accessory earned on the very first floor — and the later rewards follow the same pattern of event-only cosmetics. All of them are claimable only while The Hollow’s floors are live, as the event is a limited-time Halloween celebration.
